Mom Boss: Meet Anna

Mom Boss: Meet Anna

Apr 26th 2020

Meet Anna! She is such a crucial part to our online business, and the sister team. She's a strong mom, hard working, and always positive!

Anna is our social media manager! This includes all things Facebook, Instagram, and our newest addition... TikTok! She helps with studio photoshoots, as well as manages inventory and all the listings on our website!

What are you wearing from RubyClaire? Textured Button Down TopKaitlyn Skinnies, and Stone + Brass Bead Hoops!

How many children do you have? 3 wild ones!

When did you know you wanted to be a mother? I always wanted to be a mom, even as a little girl. I am the youngest of 4 kids, and always wanted younger siblings to take care of, so having babies of my own was always something I looked forward to!

What has surprised you the most about being a parent? How much more difficult each stage is! When you first are pregnant, I only imagined the diapers, and spit up as my challenges…I completely underestimated the challenges as they grow up. I try to mentally prepare more now!

What is your favorite part about being a mother? My kids are still young, so when actual small conversations happen with them, it makes me so happy! I love seeing their personalities and opinions start to emerge more and more every day.

What's the hardest thing about raising children? Trying to balance personalities is a rough one. Once you get one kid “figured out” it seems like they change the next day and you start back at square one!

How do you measure your success as a mother? Days with no/minimal tears make me happy and proud! They are few and far between at this stage, so a delightful surprise when they do happen! As they get older, I hope to raise them into honest, caring, and hardworking teens and adults. I think every stage will have a different measure of success.

How do you balance being a working woman and an amazing mother? Balance is a struggle. I try to batch work through my day, and it’s split up into small batches. If I have one hour to work on RubyClaire, I try to focus on all one area…social media, or inventory. If I have an hour to do mom-life, I try to get as much done as possible, meal prep dinner, while making lunch, or starting laundry and getting it folded all in one cycle. The trick is I have to complete whatever task I start within my time limit, it keeps me much more efficient.

We love Anna and are so grateful for the talent she brings to our RubyClaire Family! Thanks for reading and have a good week!
