RubyClaire Shoe Care, say that ten times in a row!! You've just spent money on a new pair of shoes, and we want to help you keep them as nice and clean as the day you bought them. We've rounded up some pointers to help you out with this!
A good way to keep your summer sandals fresh is to always bring wet wipes to wipe them down! Let's face it, summer is for being outside and getting dirty. You're always going to run into a muddy spot, so make sure you're prepared!
Polish often! This is a sure-fire way to make your leather shoes stay fresh and clean! Polishing can also create a protective layer against future messes and even dirt seeping in.
Who doesn't love a good clean white shoe to pair with an edgy outfit? Whites are tricky! So be prepared. For tennis shoes: make a baking soda paste and scrub along the edges and on scuffs. For white leather: make sure you always have white polish on hand!
Make sure you watch the tips! The toes of suede shoes are extra delicate. To clean: rub the suede all over with a white cloth dampened with vinegar or alcohol, then let it dry completely. After it's dry, fluff up the fabric one last time using a brush. And voila, your suede will stay clean and fabulous!
Shoe care is important! You never know when your favorite flats are going to sell out, so take care of those gems while they are still fresh and we promise you'll have them around for so much longer! Thank you for reading :)
