This week for #TellYouTuesday we are talking all about jewelry from the shop Cadorah. Cadorah is where you will find unique and stylish handmade jewelry that will inspire you to feel beautiful and confident every day. Whether heading to the beach or the office, or a mom on the go, they love styling you with elegant and classy pieces that will work with your every day wardrobe. A breast cancer survivor, Jen, the owner is always giving back in support of helping fund mammograms for women in need!
Cadorah was started as a creative outlet for Jen while staying at home with her two children. She has always been crafty, so adding her fashion addiction to her interest in creating ended in the perfect fit of jewelry making! Jen definitely has a creative eye, and makes the most wonderful bracelets, necklaces and other items. Two of our favorite items in Jen's shop are the bracelet (pictured above) and the necklace (pictured below). They are strong and made to last, and I get so many compliment each time I wear either one!
On Mother’s Day 2011, Jen's husband and children surprised her with a gift certificate to attend a jewelry make and take class. To her surprise, she finished making the little beaded breast cancer ribbon well before the group of seasoned beaders in the class…and she loved doing it! While she's pretty sure the class her family sent her to that day was not a well thought out plot to launch her next career, beading met her passion for style and a few months later, Cadorah was born. The business is named after her children, Caden and Decorah, whose Mother’s Day gift helped her realize her calling. Cadorah first introduced handmade jewelry through Etsy and trunk shows. They expanded into boutique clothing a year later and so began their mission to be an eye for style that inspires women to feel confident and beautiful.
