Three Looks for Valentine's Day!

Three Looks for Valentine's Day!

Posted by Anna Doyle on Feb 5th 2020

Alright babes! The big day is just around the corner! I am breaking down 3 ways you can style pieces hanging in your closet right now to be perfectly festive for Valentine's Day! With a few different types of nights in mind, let's get started:

LOOK ONE:

DRESSHATSHOES

This is a look you could wear on a fancy night out with your honey! A classic date night style, with a flirty, sexy vibe. You might not currently have something that screams "HEARTS + VALENTINES" in your closet, but if you pull out anything with a lace detail, it's automatically Valentine's ready! By adding heels, and a hat, you have given a single piece a polished look! If it's still chilly where you are (hello...that's me!) just add some tights and a cropped moto jacket for an edgy look to balance the lace!

LOOK TWO:

SIMILAR TOPJEANSSHOESEARRINGS

Alright, where are my laid back ladies at?! I'll be honest, the season of life I am currently in fits this look! I'm going to be in my elementary aged kiddos class for a holiday party, followed by heart shaped pizza for dinner, and bedtime by 7:30...Bring on the Netflix binge fest! For this type of holiday, all you need are your favorite jeans, you already know where they are in your closet right? Add some cozy sneakers, aaaaand to fit the theme, a full blown heart attacked top! Pick a pink or red option if you don't have a heart themed piece!

LOOK THREE:

SWEATERJEANSBOOTSEARRINGS

This was styled with a "somewhere in between" night in mind. Maybe a Galentine's party or family party....the kind of day where you want to look nice, but feel comfortable! Enter: sleek jeans and a classic cut sweater! These denim pants have no distressing, and a dark wash for a clean, put together vibe. Adding a warm, woven sweater tops off this love-day-look with charm! Instead of sneakers or a flat, add a heeled bootie to really tie together this classic look!
